SQUARE STEEL TARGETS
3/8″ AR550 Square Steel Shooting Targets are great all purpose targets giving the shooter a little bit extra surface to mark impacts which can be use full when shooting in wind or working up your drop charts, and they can be used with magnum handguns and rifle cartridges. Just keep impact velocities under 3000 f.p.s. and impact energy under 3500 ft. lbs. and these square targets will serve you well. Can be used as rifles targets and handguns even with popular cartridges like .223 and 5.56 which when shot closer than roughly 100 yards can pit AR500 steel targets due to the heat created by projectile impacting the steel, these will not. These shooting targets may very well outlast the weapons themselves. Our square plates can be hung a multiple ways as they have holes at two corners allowing them to hang from chains or our preferred method is our strap kit which will typically out last the chains, and then they also have a .530″ square hole to be used with our Heavy Duty Tension Holder , AR500 T-Post Mount, or our T-Post hanger. Our square shooting targets are available in stock sizes 8”x 8” to 24”x 24” giving several options for long range rifle shooters to choose from and then our large 24” x 24” steel target for extended ranges.
